Dr. Rajendra Patankar

With over 20 years of rich healthcare experience, Dr. Rajendra Patankar is presently, the Chief Executive Officer of Jupiter Hospital, Pune.
He was earlier with Radiant Life Care and worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Patankar has played a significant role in the brand repositioning of the 65-year-old iconic hospital well known as Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital located in the Mumbai’s Western Suburbs. He has led the team to a complete turnaround in operations both clinically and financially in one of the most complex working environments.
An MD in Hospital Administration and Planning from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (a 1500 beds hospital) Dr. Patankar has commissioned more than 7 hospitals and have successfully managed them.
Dr. Patankar is on the academic board of Welingkar’s School of Management for the course of Masters in Hospital Administration. He is a recipient of the Visihtha Paryavaran Mitra Award by Environmental Medical Association. As a core group member of CII Western Region Dr. Patankar advises on various issues relating to the healthcare industry.
Dr. Patankar has worked with reputed institutions like Manipal Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, Hinduja Hospital, Aster D M Healthcare and Surya Child Care where he was involved in Strategy, Administration, Business Development and has successfully handled P&L responsibilities.
